Collaborative Storytelling

AKA Dungeons & Dragons

My experience with D&D started as a chance to be silly with friends during COVID lockdown. It became a hobby that provides spaces to tell shared stories and explore different viewpoints while still being pretty silly.

Character Designs

I've spent most of my time with D&D as a player in someone else's world, but I have occasionally gotten the chance to run a game of my own. In those cases, one of my favorite things to do is dive into character creation with my players to create a head space and skill set that they will enjoy living in. As an added bonus, it gives me a chance to create character art as a sort of gift for the player.

Props To Be Discovered

Discovery can be one of the most exciting parts of D&D and even more so when players can get their hands on a physical prop. It can be so much more immersive when instead of a description like "you find a tattered piece of paper that says x", a player can actually see and touch it. It also gives a game master a place to hide fun easter eggs, inside jokes, and hints at new information.

Player Aid For Beginners

Providing useful tools for beginner players is a vital aid for onboarding into the game. At first, it's easy to get bogged down in a seemingly endless barrage of math, definitions, and words that you've never heard before. I made this quick reference guide that provides answers to the most likely questions that a newbie might ask.
